According to reports, at least four trucks, carrying Ferrari equipment and other equipment for F1, in general, got stuck in the blockade. However, the trucks got going again after the Military Highway Police intervened and resolved the situation.
The trucks were escorted by the police on their way to Sao Paulo. The Brazilian Automobile Confederation (CBA) confirmed recently that all the trucks have reached the Interlagos circuit.
The next convoy that will leave for Interlagos from the airport is scheduled to leave at 10:00 pm on Tuesday. According to officials from the Viracopos Airport, about 700 tonnes of equipment will be arriving at the airport from Mexico. They will be brought in by eight Boeing aircraft.
