After a short absence, Formula 1 has finally returned to the USA due to the ongoing pandemic. 2020 was certainly not a great year for F1 fans in the western continent as all of the races including the US GP, Canadian GP, Brazilian GP and Mexican GP opted to move out of the Keep out racing calendar.

Well, don’t wait any longer! Although Canada is yet to make its comeback, the US has decided to host their first F1 race in 2 years. And what better way to celebrate the comeback than to join America’s famous national sports league?
Formula 1 decided to bring out some team-inspired liveries from the National Basketball Association, usually known as the NBA.

Liveries included the Milwaukee Bucks (2021 NBA champions), Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Lakers, Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors.
The liveries were printed on the 2021 F1 concept car and of course each of the designs looked absolutely stunning.

Formula 1 took to Twitter to reveal the livery of the 9 famous NBA teams. This is to celebrate the start of the NBA season 2021/22. Interestingly, F1 has confirmed that more such concept liveries are in the pipeline.

What to expect at COTA on the F1 weekend
Excitement mounts as the US Grand Prix approaches; and the reason? Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. Of course, both title contenders will go to the absolute limit to beat the other. However, this isn’t the only fight to watch out for.

The last place on the podium will be there to take away. And it’s not surprising that Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez will be the main contenders for the position. But they are not. Charles Leclerc looks in tip top shape, and Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto has reiterated that her goal is to get a podium in each of the upcoming races.
Therefore, the battle for P3 is likely to be intense and could be a decisive factor in the ongoing battle for P4 in the Constructors’ Championship between Lando Norris, Perez, Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. So who will get the final podium in the US?
