
After an intense F1 season with 22 races in 2021, the drivers are relaxing during the much-needed winter break. With the festivities around the corner, our favorite drivers spend a lot of time with their families and friends. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc was recently spotted at a restaurant in Mexico where he was going out for dinner with friends.

Leclerc experienced a roller coaster season with the Maranello team in 2021. He finished 7th in the drivers’ championship with 159 points and 1 podium at Silverstone. The Monegasse took two pole positions, which speak for his ability in a single lap. He’s had an inconsistent season, however, with a few unfortunate falls. A fall during the qualifying season in Monaco forced him out of the race.
To the delight of fans, Ferrari scored 18 colons this season, more than any other team. The two drivers also helped the team achieve the “Best of the Rest” in the constructors’ championship.

Charles Leclerc spotted with friends in Mexico
The Monegasque was spotted at Parole Cancun, an Italian restaurant in Mexico. Girlfriend Charlotte Sine and friends accompanied Leclerc to dinner at the beautiful location in the coastal city in southeastern Mexico. Monte Carlo-based actress and entrepreneur Marta Molino shared a look at her dinner on her Instagram handle.

The Ferrari man had a season below his caliber and expectations. Team boss Mattia Binotto believes that Leclerc lost at least 40 points due to bad luck.
“We shouldn’t forget that there are some examples in his season, Monaco and Budapest, where he didn’t score, but I think he was unlucky as a driver in those cases,” said Binotto, speaking from MSN. reported.
“Without that, it’s hard to say what he would have achieved at the end of the race, but maybe he is at least 40 points short of his score. Without that, in my opinion, he would have been much further up the front in the championship, ”added the Italian team boss.

Leclerc would try to minimize the crashes over the next season. With new regulations, Ferrari will find an ideal car for its drivers. The drive unit problem is a thing of the past for the Maranello team, but the problems with overtaking have yet to be addressed. Hopefully we will see Charles Leclerc at his peak next season.
