While it’s hard to imagine anyone but Lewis being the favorite to win the title again this year, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc doesn’t share the same view. According to Monegasque, he supports the Red Bull ace to receive the praise in 2021.

There is no doubt about the tons of talent the Dutchman has in him. But until that year he didn’t have the machinery to race for the title. Now that the final piece of the puzzle is with him, Leclerc believes that Max could end Hamilton’s dominance.

Eurosport quoted Leclerc as saying, “If I had to bet one euro on either of the two? Verstappen. Red Bull has made progress and seems to be ahead of Mercedes. Max can win because he has a lot of talent. “

Meanwhile, Leclerc has been pretty impressive himself since entering the F1 scene with Alfa Romeo. In fact, a fellow competitor sees the Monegasque as a title contender for the future.
The Scuderia driver started the 2021 campaign in an impressive way with a P6 and a P4 finish. He believes the Maranello-based outfit is back on the road to redemption.

The Italian team had a terrible season last year and that resulted in them clicking the refresh button and restarting. So far, 2021 has brought many positive results to the historic team and Charles gives his full support to the plan.
He said: “I believe in the project because I know how we work internally and I know our potential. After a difficult 2020, we have gathered all the things we need to be competitive again. The technical project is added to the story and it is an honor to drive for this team. I want to bring Ferrari back to victory. “
The Tifosi will certainly be happy about all the improvements and hope that they can build on them and find their way back to the top of the rankings.
In front and in the middle of this load will be Leclerc, whom the team trusts very much. Will Monegasque go under as a Ferrari legend or maybe even an F1 legend? Only time will tell, but he certainly has all the components to be a very special driver.
