For my wheel-to-wheel race, I’m actually quite happy with it: Leclerc

As reported by The Race, Leclerc argued that his driving style did not change during the race. He had the same attitude throughout the race that allowed him to make a comeback after the lap 1 incident.

“I’m actually quite happy with that for my wheel-to-wheel race. It’s always obviously at the limit, ”said Leclerc.

“But if you look at the last race, it helped us a lot to get back through the field without losing too much speed. So it’s always a fine balance, ”said the Ferrari driver.

On his lap 1 incident with Gasly, “Maybe I could have done something to avoid it. But now it is too late.

It was a little too much on the first lap, but I spoke to Pierre. Everything’s fine there, and that’s it, ”said Leclerc.

Can Charles Leclerc lead Ferrari to an unlikely podium?

The Monegasque driver took pole positions in Baku and Monaco this year. But P4 at the Spanish Grand Prix remains his best result in the race. He could possibly have won the Monaco race but did not start the race due to reliability issues in his Ferrari.

Charles drove a comeback from P18 to P7 at the Styrian Grand Prix. He will try to qualify higher this weekend to fight for the podium with his Ferrari if something happens to the front runners.
