Carlos Sainz had a loyal fan watching him this weekend
With both the father and son heavily involved in racing, it should come as no surprise that they show their love and support for one another. That’s exactly what happened this weekend. While Sainz Sr. was preparing for his race, he took the time to watch his son prepare for the Belgian Grand Prix.

After the summer break with the start of the Belgian GP was over, Sainz hoped to be able to take off. That’s exactly what he did when he was fifth on the timetable in the first practice session of the day.
However, FP2 tells a different story as Sainz was unable to repeat the pace of FP1 and was therefore in eleventh place. But the 26-year-old doesn’t give up and hopes to make up for himself in the last training session on Saturday afternoon.

He would aim for good pace in FP3 and hope to be able to take that momentum with him into the intensive qualifying later that day. With two podiums for the Italian team, he has the confidence to bring home another podium and get off to a good start into the second half of the season.
