The Mercedes driver demanded driving for the Italian team, but not his.
“When I came to Monza for many years and walked next to the fans… I could hear them say,“ Come to Ferrari! ”. It warmed my heart, but it’s pretty amazing that I’ve never driven for Ferrari in so many years. Because it is a dream for everyone, a goal to be achieved. It was never really possible and I will never know exactly why.
I wish them the best and in my near future I will continue to prevent them from winning the World Cup. I’ve seen photos of their drivers and red is always red. I have a couple of Ferraris at home and I can drive them, but not the Ferrari F1, ”said Hamilton.
There have been some reports that Hamilton might end his career dressed in red, but after his last contract renewal with Merc, it looks very unlikely.
