However, this was not the case with viewers. People are still criticizing the team for failing in form Charles Leclerc to provide a decent enough car.
One of them, apparently, was Sky Italia’s commentator Carlo Vanzini, who pitied Monegasque because he was constantly provided with an overwhelming car to race in.

Of course, Leclerc tries to get every ounce of power out of the Ferrari to get decent results. In fact, it can definitely be said that it somehow exceeds the potential of the car.
However, there’s also the fact that an entire crew sweats every day to help make Leclerc a success. So this logic of praising a single racing driver for a team’s performance did not go down well with Ferrari’s boss.

As reported by PlanetF1, Mattia Binotto was rather disappointed that the commentator failed to praise the team for Leclerc’s success on the track this season.
“I was sorry to hear ‘Grande Charles, what a shame about the car’,” said Binotto. “In this situation, it’s a shame to hear comments that don’t do the team any credit. Because I think this is a team result.
“I think we have to recognize the team’s merits. This is a team result, not just the driver. The car is definitely better than last year.

This was a decent comeback for Ferrari after a painful 2020 F1 season after failing to get into the top five on the constructor’s table. This time, however, they are already in 4th place and are only five points behind McLaren in 3rd place.
