2022 Ferrari F1 car with rear and front wing design leaked

Many believe that it could have the opposite effect as all teams have teamed up well and overtaking may not be that easy

It appears that Ferrari’s 2022 F1 car, which features the new design language according to the new Formula 1 aerodynamics rules, has been leaked. It is not yet clear where these images came from, but they are popping up on Facebook and Twitter. This picture shows the new futuristic rear and front wing designs as well as the new Venturi tunnels, which are important for a ground-effective aerodynamics that is returning to sport after decades.

In 2022, it was predicted that the cars would be significantly slower than the ones we currently have in the 2021 season, which will have the second-fastest speeds of all time after the 2020 cars. These cars will go back to the speeds that were prevalent between the 2018 and 2019 seasons, which means they will still be pretty fast.

Ross Brawn, F1 Technical Director, has created regulations that allow better overtaking and easier overtaking, as well as a more closely contested racing field. However, many drivers, including Lewis Hamilton who tested the new 2022 Pirelli tires, have said that these rules may not have the desired effect. Many believe that this could have the opposite effect, as all the teams have come together well and overtaking may not be that easy, which Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto has also hinted at.

One thing is for sure, with the budget cap we could see the order rearranged as many teams have dedicated resources to build a masterful car for the new aerodynamic era of F1. These cars will also look more aggressive, although they are even heavier than the current cars. These cars also look more aggressive and will look stunning on TV.
