Mercedes and Red Bull Racing are fighting for the world title this year, but Toto Wolff is actually missing a team in this fight. The Austrian hopes that Ferrari will be able to compete for the title again from 2022.
For years, Mercedes has been able to dominate Formula 1 and win one world championship title after another. Ferrari and Red Bull Racing were always close and fought together for second place. However, Red Bull has now made the move to lead the battle to Mercedes and Wolff is hoping Ferrari can do the same soon.

” We also need Ferrari in this fight. The next championship will be a fight in which four or five teams compete against each other, and Ferrari has to be there, ”the Mercedes team boss told Corriere dello Sport.
“Ferrari is an impressive brand with a good group of people. They also have two good drivers at their disposal. They have recovered from last season and I really expect them to be at our level next year. Hopefully with Red Bull, McLaren, Aston Martin, Alpine and maybe more teams. This makes the championship even more fun for the spectators, ”concluded Wolff.
