Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel marched into the 2021 F1 season in hopes of stopping his poor form. However, the first race weekend suggested something different, as the German qualified last on the grid and finished the race in P15 so as not to forget the two penalties.

What did Mark Webber say?
In an interview with RaceFans, Webber said that Vettel shouldn’t let the current situation get out of hand. “He’s his toughest critic. He’s going to be really tough on himself, ”he said.
“It’s easy for this stuff to get out of hand. And that is exactly what his mission has to be now, to make sure that this snowball doesn’t get out of hand, that he gets back on the horse and has a feel for this car. “

Webber was one of the drivers who managed to see Vettel at the peak of his form from the 2010 F1 season. He was on an incredible triumph when he gave Webber no room for hope to fight him for the title until 2013.
Citing the lack of opportunity, the Australian eventually announced his retirement from Formula 1, while Vettel stayed with Red Bull for another year before falling into the hands of Ferrari.
The next six or seven races are going to be crucial for Sebastian Vettel: Webber
Webber opined that Vettel could use up to seven race weekends to keep himself up to date, and anything beyond that could result in Aston Martin making an inevitable decision.
“It doesn’t matter what your name is or what your trophy cabinet was. Every year in Formula 1 you have to deliver. And he knows that too. The next six or seven races will be crucial for him, ”he said.

“He’s an extremely old dog at new tricks now. And that is something that, in turn, is written on Seb’s watch a lot. So it’s very much up to him. “

Obviously, Aston Martin has to bear a fair share of the blame for Vettel’s fighting as the car looked a little erratic on the first weekend in Bahrain.
As a result, Vettel will have to exceed his weight for the upcoming race weekends, with Aston Martin showing no signs of improvement in the near future. But how far will he succeed? Only time can tell.
