After a difficult start to his new chapter at Aston Martin, Sebastian Vettel has finally managed to score his first F1 points of the season. The German is happy with the progress made by the Silverstone-based team and is looking forward to improving his form.

The four-time world champion showed clear improvements in the intensive qualifying on Saturday. He made it to the third qualifying lap and set the eighth fastest lap on the track.
On the main day, exactly when it mattered, Vettel showed what he was capable of and proved that his critics were wrong. The German driver finished fifth and scored 10 points, his first for Aston Martin this season.

Sebastian Vettel admits a small update that helped him during the race
As quoted by Motorsport-Total.com, Seb said, “If you go out right away and feel good, you can build on that. I was one of the fastest in the first 20 minutes of free practice and immediately felt very good in the car. “

“That stayed the same. In the second free practice you can attack more where you have to.
“A very small update. That certainly didn’t hurt, ”concluded Vettel.
The German will no longer feel grumpy after the Monaco GP
After Vettel finally gained a foothold in the British racing car after a terrible season with Ferrari and a bad start to the season at the Monaco GP, the German finally seems happier with himself.
Speaking to Channel 4 alongside Mark Webber, Vettel, as quoted by PlanetF1, said, “Sometimes the criticism is legitimate and sometimes it is not. Obviously I see some things very differently because I can see the full picture of my performance and be confident, and Mark [Webber] know that.
“I’m very grumpy when I’m not playing at the level I want to perform at.

“I haven’t had a great time, but I think there was a trend that has gotten a little better and I just have to work on it,” concluded Vettel.
The 33-year-old German would like to improve this form further and score more points for his team in the first season. He would hope for a similar result in the upcoming Baku race.
