Sebastian Vettel says that Aston Martin is already too far behind to fight for third place in the constructors’ championship. The team currently has five points; sixty less than the current number three McLaren.
It is still a long way from the hoped-for season Aston Martin and Sebastian Vettel. The results of the first four Grand Prix are disappointing to say the least. The German has not yet scored a single point, while teammate Lance Stroll has not scored more than two points.

Turkish media confirm: Turkish Grand Prix canceled
After four Grand Prix already a new goal
After a successful last year as Racing Point, in which the team took just third place among the constructors, the goal of this year was to achieve third place. After four races in 2021, the goal has already been adjusted: “It’s difficult to set a goal. Third place is already too far away,” admitted Vettel at F1-Insider.com.
Aston Martin is currently seventh in the constructors’ championship and has already fallen significantly behind McLaren number three. “We find it difficult to take the right step forward, but we still have a few races ahead of us,” concludes Vettel.
