The main goal of Aston Martin F1 Edition is to develop performance. Current goals are a seven-minute 30-second lap, an acceleration target of 3.7 seconds to 62 mph, and a top speed of more than 195 mph.
Also, the change in the aerodynamics package became a reason for some visual changes. Heavy downforce is required for this car. Compared to the standard Vantage, an aero package of a new Vantage F1® Edition offers an additional downforce of 200 kg, which is very impressive. It gives the car the ability to feel safer in high corners and offers more stability at high speeds.

He then says: “I insisted that performance gains were achieved through real improvements in vehicle dynamics and not by fitting track-optimized tires. The Aston Martin Vantage F1 Edition is powered by a 4.0 liter AMG V8 bi-turbo engine, the output of which has been increased to 535 hp (+ 25), although the torque has not changed – it is still 685 Nm. The eight-speed automatic is also standard here, but has been reconfigured, which means that the gear changes faster.
Another feature of the special version is a modified suspension with different shock absorbers and stiffer springs (on the rear axle). In addition, the car received a reinforced subframe and a modified steering mechanism. The new Vantage F1 Edition will go on sale May 21 at a price of 162,000 euros (196,763 US dollars).
