Stroll and Vettel both from the pit lane

Stroll and Vettel both from the pit lane

Aston Martin will start from the pit lane with both cars at the Miami Grand Prix. Both Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel will not take their spots on the grid when the lights go out. It’s a tough call for the British team, as Stroll and Vettel would start from P10 and P13 respectively.

Why Aston Martin is starting from the pit lane is unknown. It is clear that mechanical problems are involved. The cars were in parc fermé and should therefore not be touched, that’s why a pit lane start is needed.

The problems of Vettel and Stroll are identical, but an Aston Martin spokesman would not say what was wrong, although they reveal on social media that it’s a problem with fuel temperature.
