For snowboard star Scotty James and Formula 1 heiress Chloe Stroll, love is in the air.
Over the weekend, the couple announced their engagement on their respective Instagram pages.
“Heyyyyyy, we’re getting married,” James said in an Instagram video. “This is my fiancée.”
Stroll’s caption read “Forever” with a wedding ring emoji.
James, 27, won the bronze medal in the half pipe at the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics. His six X Games medals also include gold in the superpipe.
Stroll, 26, is the daughter of Aston Martin F1 team chairman Lawrence Stroll, who has approximately $ 3 billion per Forbes net worth. Her brother Lance Stroll, to whom she attributes the founding of the couple, is a driver on the team.
Numerous celebrities – including Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Elle Macpherson – congratulated the couple in Instagram comments.

“[My brother] Lance actually called me and said, ‘I think I just found the man you are going to marry,’ ”Stroll told the Herald Sun in Australia. “It was kind of strange. I had a conference in Park City, Utah where his next competition was the same weekend and a lot of random things happened.
“Scotty was very cute. We were together for about four months, or as he likes to say, we met before he officially asked me to be his girlfriend. “

“I just got in touch with her in New York and went out to dinner at a place called Motel Morris in Chelsea and the rest is history,” said James.
