Like every other driver, Vettel has developed some rituals and preparations before the race. In a new social media fan interaction for Formula 1, the Aston Martin driver illuminated one of his pre-race rituals. The answer may not be what you expect.

Sebastian Vettel gives a hilarious answer to a fan question
The Aston Martin was asked by a fan in the interaction if it had any rituals before the race. The wise old Sebastian Vettel gave a very logical but funny answer that nobody had expected.
“I have to go to the bathroom before the race,” he said, laughing. “Races can be long, so … At least it’s the most consistent ritual.”
Then Seb immersed himself in his actual rituals and went on: “You know, I sometimes listen to music, sometimes more or sometimes less, and do a few hops, some warm-up exercises, before I get into the car.
“I only get into the car from the left, never from the right, I don’t know why, but that’s just the way it is, so you could also call it a ritual.”

Vettel has signed a contract extension with the British team and will continue to drive for them in the 2022 season. According to Formula 1’s Lawrence Barretto, Vettel has shown some outstanding performances this year despite the slow start.
