Rory McIlroy gets a glimpse into the F1 world at the United States Grand Prix

Rory McIlroy took time out after winning the CJ Cup to compete in the recently completed United States Grand Prix. There he met the German racing driver Sebastian Vettel and spent time with him.

McIlroy, who won by a single stroke at the Summit Club in Vegas, recorded his second win that year. The 20-time PGA Tour winner also recently claimed that if he played well, he was the best golfer in the world.

With this victory, he finally proves this point and has made his comeback after a two-year drought during the pandemic.

Rory McIlroy meets Sebastian Vettel at the USGP

Recently, pictures of Vettel and McIlroy flooded Twitter together. McIlroy not only met Vettel, but also Nico Hülkenburg and the Canadian racing driver Lance Stroll. Hülkenburg is a German professional racing driver currently serving as a reserve for the Aston Martin F1 team.

In the pictures, McIlroy has a tournament VIP pass around his neck when the two meet with a dent in his fist. Fans were very excited when these two legends met and showed their enthusiasm on Twitter.

McIlroy took to Twitter to say thank you after visiting a workshop. He said, “Incredible experience inside the today @ AstonMartinF1 Garage. Thanks very much, @lance_stroll and @ HülkHülkenberg! ” In addition, the the latter replied to McIlroy’s tweet saying, “It was great to have you here!”

Sebastian Vettel joined the F1 racing team Aston Martin instead of Sergio Perez for the 2021 season. Of the few races he has participated in, he took his first podium with a second place at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Vettel finished 10th in the United States Grand Prix, which took place on October 24, 2021 at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas. In addition, Max Verstappen from Red Bull Racing’s Lewis Hamilton from Mercedes was able to secure the title.
