The owner of the Aston Martin Racing Team recently commented on the upcoming budget cap in Formula 1.
“Without the budget limit, I could only dream of competition.”

“But this budget ceiling paves the competitive conditions and paves the way for profitability,” said the Canadian, as reported by Formula Passion.
In 2021, Formula 1 introduced a budget cap, the maximum amount a team can spend in one season. This was done so that the teams with relatively less money could compete with richer teams.
Formula 1 aims to create a “niver” grid with fairer and more competitive racing action on the track.
The budget cap, along with the new Formula 1 rules for next year’s cars, should ensure that the action on the track matches the goals.
Stroll compares Aston Martin to Rome
Racing Point owned by Lawrence Stroll almost finished third in the 2020 season.
But whatever the controversial reasons for their “surprising performance,” this season the renamed Aston Martin Racing team has not repeated or kept the promise it made.
But Stroll thinks long-term and remains optimistic for the future despite the disappointing performance on the track.

However, the Canadian argued that the cause of the suffering this season lies in the changes in aerodynamics in Formula 1.

Stroll also announced that they are issuing financial bonds to help fund a new campus.

The Canadian wants the entire campus to be a hub where the entire team can come together and focus on one thing; build faster cars.
