James Bond film stunt driver Jessica Hawkins shows talent with the Aston Martin F1 team

Ahead of the 2021 Grand Prix in Monaco this weekend, Aston Martin Formula One announced an important addition to its team. Due to Aston Martin’s close association with the James Bond film franchise, the team announced the James Bond film stunt driver and W series racer Jessica Hawkins as driver ambassadors. The team said in a statement Wednesday that Hawkins will be working with partners and in a variety of disciplines.

Aston Martin James Bond Connection

Aston Martin, the British secret agent’s car of choice in the James Bond film franchise, has been linked to the James Bond film several times since returning to Formula 1 this season. For example, the Aston Martin Formula 1 car launch in March was presented online by Quantum of Solace actress Gemma Arterton, with James Bond film actor Daniel Craig delivering a special message of support.

While Jessica Hawkins’ inclusion on Aston Martin’s Formula One team seems vague, her new job could lead to her showing off some of the skills featured in the yet-to-be-released James Bond film, No Time to Die ” to be shown. The 26-year-old British woman said she enjoyed turning cars sideways as much as she enjoyed racing. No Time to Die will feature four Aston Martins.

James Bond stunt driver Jessica Hawkins explains her interests in racing

After Jessica Hawkins was announced as Aston Martin’s Formula One driver ambassador, she explained her interest in motorsport and how she wanted to become a racing driver. The James Bond film stunt driver is a former British kart champion and also has racing cards, although far from the level required to obtain a Formula 1 super license. The all-female W-Series supports Formula 1 and Hawkins is following in the footsteps of defending champion Jamie Chadwick, who plays a development role at Williams.

Why couldn’t Jessica Hawkins continue her racing career?

Jessica Hawkins, the daughter of an air conditioner builder, said her racing career had stalled because of a lack of money. Hawkins said, “When I was 10 or 11 years old, I was being referred to as the woman most likely to make it into Formula One and it never came about. I might not have made it … but I’m up in any case proud of where I am and on the journey. ” I was on my way to where I am. “On top of that, Hawkins also recalled her once beating former Red Bull F1 driver Alexander Albon, which suggested how good she could have been at motorsport.
