Charles Leclerc has a new team-mate at Ferrari in Carlos Sainz this season. The Spaniard replaces Sebastian Vettel, who had driven with Leclerc for the Italian team in the previous two seasons. The Monegasse sees differences, but also similarities between the two drivers.
Leclerc looked up to Vettel from his first season. The four-time world champion has shown excellent driving skills in the past, so Leclerc tried to learn a lot from his teammate. Last season, however, he proved to be the better driver and won convincingly against Vettel, whereupon the German moved to Aston Martin.

Also, Leclerc sees that both drivers have some comparisons. “I thought that he (Vettel) was the driver from the entire grid who took the longest for the analysis, but I think he can almost hold a competition with Carlos. It takes that long with Carlos too.”
