The F1 starting field in 2021 has a very good mix of rookies, young drivers and veterans. One person who would stand out on the veterans list would be 4-time Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel, who is currently driving for the Aston Martin F1 team. As the release of the latest James Bond movie draws nearer, 007 is obviously on all of our heads. Before the Russian Grand Prix in Sochi, Vettel Sky Sports F1 unveiled the “James Bond” moment of his career.

Highly intelligent, knowledgeable and charismatic and at the same time sensible, calm and combative. This description would probably fit both James Bond and Sebastian Vettel. Since they both had an Aston Martin for their car, Sky Sports reporter Craig Slater caught up with Vettel and asked if he was feeling like Bond at any moment in his career.
“Hard to say, of course James Bond is fiction. Real stuff always happens on the track. But I wouldn’t mind if I sometimes had a button on the wheel, maybe to get rid of a car in front of or behind me, to make my life a little easier. But, yes, I think you can choose something dramatic or overtaking, ”said Seb.

When Vettel was reminded of the 2011 Italian Grand Prix, when Vettel overtook Alonso with his wheels on the grass, Vettel said that this could be one too. He’s had such a long career that the more he thinks about it, the more he will remember moments that can be compared to James Bond.
