“I am very excited and supportive” – Aston Martin owner Lance Stroll is happy about the prospects that Audi and / or Porsche will enter Formula 1 in the coming seasons.
The Volkswagen Group is expected to enter Formula 1 with Porsche or Audi or both in the next 4-5 seasons. You will likely join as an engine supplier, but there is also the option of joining as a works team.
Aston Martin owner Lawrence Stroll, who entered the sport with the Racing Point team, was enthusiastic about this. The entry of Audi / Porsche, currently supported by Mercedes, offers the British team a credible option.

Aston Martin is happy about the USA push of F1
Stroll was also happy with the sport’s renewed focus on the United States, an important market for Aston Martin. F1 races in Texas and will add Miami next season, along with rumors that Las Vegas will be added to the calendar.
“For our road car manufacturer, this is our second largest market, the USA, so we have had an enormous fan base there for many, many years.
“F1, their push, and where they see the greatest opportunity for growth for them is the United States. That’s why we’re adding Miami next year, that’s why we’re in talks for Las Vegas.
“Now the United States is the largest consumer market in the world, especially for a premium product, and we have the smallest footprint.
