The future of Nyck de Vries is the talk of the week not only in the Netherlands, but across the Formula 1 world. The driver from Sneek was a candidate for Williams, but the British lineup picked Alexander Albon. He still has the chance to join Alfa Romeo and maybe Aston Martin is an option too. Sebastian Vettel has not yet been confirmed for 2022.
De Vries had a long association with Williams, but they opted for more experience in the person of Albon. “I understand Williams’ choice of Alex. He’s more experienced in Formula One, so I understand why they chose that solution.”
