Hackett has inked a deal to dress the drivers and wider Aston Martin F1 team for off-track engagements.

LONDON – Hackett London dresses Aston Martin’s new Formula 1 drivers and a wider team for their days on the road or in the factory.

After more than 60 years on the fringes of sport, the luxury automobile company joins F1 with Aston Martin Cognizant’s Formula 1 team.

Hackett will attract drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll, the son of Lawrence Stroll, the Canadian clothing tycoon who is a partner in Aston Martin.

An announcement is expected on Tuesday.

When asked about the collection, the Hackett design team said that the F1 collection should have three main characteristics: comfort, performance and usefulness.

Hackett, Aston Martin’s longest uninterrupted partner, has also extended its licensing agreement with the automaker’s parent company until 2024. This is a contract that marks 20 years of collaboration.

Hackett announced that it will continue to produce the Aston Martin Racing by Hackett collection for spring 2021. These include casual outerwear, polo shirts with embroidered logo, backpacks, light outerwear, vests and windbreakers.
