Fernando Alonso wants to join Aston Martin F1 next year and obviously the two-time world champion is hoping this will allow him to fulfill a dream.
And it is neither more nor less than playing in a James Bond, not to embody the famous agent 007, but to appear at the wheel of one of the legendary cars of the British brand.
It was organized during a live Instagram with a sponsor that the Spaniard made this revelation. It all started with a question from a user who asked: « How about changing ‘El Plan’ to ‘La Mision’? »
To which Alonso replied, laughing: « Don’t do that again, we’ve had enough trouble with ‘El Plan’ from last year! »
« It’s these things that are created on social media, and I always try to follow what you tell me. If it has to be ‘La Mision’, then it will be ‘La Mision’. »
But above all, Alonso took the opportunity to make a very, very special request to his future employer.
« What I would like is to appear in one of the James Bond films as I will be at Aston Martin, I guess I will have to discuss this with the team. »
« Shooting a scene driving an Aston Martin through the streets would be really exciting. I hope the movie comes out! »
