“I think so, I don’t see a problem in that,” Alonso told Autosport.
“The US is probably the biggest destination for Formula 1 right now, as Liberty is responsible for the sport.”

The American owners of Formula 1, Liberty Media, are considering adding a third race in America to the season calendar.
The race will be held in either Indianapolis or Las Vegas.
But first the first Miami Grand Prix
In addition to his excitement, the alpine driver also expressed that before the third race you should concentrate on doing the second well.
“But let’s first have a good Grand Prix in Miami next year,” said the 40-year-old.
In addition to Alonso, other drivers such as Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have also voiced their thoughts on the next season’s race in the USA.
But not only the drivers, also the team bosses have welcomed the prospect of more races in America.
Alonso’s Alpine team principal Laurent Rossi said the formula’s growth in the US is a “perfect storm”. Aston Martins team boss Otmar Szafnauer considers the idea of more races in America to be “very practical”.

Alonso hopes to end the season with a series of consistent and good results so that his team can hold fifth place in a season that is good for them.
