Lewandowski reflects on his own career
in the interview, Lewandowski explained what it took for him to become one of the best strikers in the world.
“From a very young age I dreamed of playing in big stadiums, in the biggest games, in front of thousands of fans,” he said.
“To do that, I knew I had to work harder than others to get to the top.
“I kept telling myself ‘No matter how good I am, I can always be better’.
“Sometimes the journey to the top can be hard, but staying there is even harder.”
He also explained that in order to reach perfection as a sportsperson the hard work must never stop.
“It’s about constantly working hard to keep improving, that’s the only way you’ll get closer to perfection,” he said.
“Even if you are very skilled and talented, you must always stay focused. Of course, when you achieve something important you can celebrate, but the next day you have to be ready for the next challenge.”
