James Bond film stunt driver and W-Series racing driver Jessica Hawkins has joined the Aston Martin Formula 1 team as a “driver ambassador”.
The team of four-time world champions Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll said in a statement on Wednesday that they would work with partners and “across different disciplines”.
If a little vague in detail, the new job could include the 26-year-old British guy demonstrating some of the skills shown in the yet-to-be-released Bond film “No Time to Die”.
“I love to send cars sideways almost as much as I do races,” she told Reuters.

The fictional British secret agent’s car of choice, Aston Martin has built the Bond connection since returning to Formula 1 this season by rebranding Silverstone-based Racing Point.
The March launch of her F1 car was featured online by Quantum of Solace actress Gemma Arterton, with Bond actor Daniel Craig delivering a message of support.
Hawkins, a former British karting champion, also has racing experience, although this is far from the level required to obtain a Formula 1 super license.
The all-female W-Series supports Formula One and Hawkins follows defending champion Jamie Chadwick, who plays a development role at Williams, to help connect with an F1 team.
As the daughter of an air conditioning manufacturer, her racing career was halted for lack of money until the Formula three-level W series came onto the market in 2019 with all the costs paid.
“When I was 10 or 11 years old, I was referred to as the woman most likely to make it into Formula One and it never came about,” said Hawkins, who remembered future Red Bull F1 driver Alexander To have hit Albon once.
“I might not have made it … but I’m definitely proud of where I am and what journey I got to where I am.”
