Sebastian Vettel needed some time to keep track of Aston Martin. He scored his first points of the season in his fifth race with the Silverstone team at the Monaco GP. The German is hoping for a similar result in the upcoming race in Baku.

The four-time world champion showed signs of improvement at Monte Carlo as he qualified seventh for Sunday’s race. From then on, Vettel seemed to have found his old form when he crossed the finish line in fifth and scored 10 points.
The German driver is therefore of the opinion that the team should achieve a similar result as the closest venue is also a street circuit. Can Vettel keep his word and achieve an identical result in the sixth round of the season? We will find out.

As quoted by GP fans, Vettel said: “It’s a street circuit. Although nature is very different because it is very fast with a long straight line, we will see. Fifth place is a very strong result for us and we will get the points.

The German is happy about the success of Monaco
A P5 finish in itself is a great result, but when you factor in Seb’s performance with Ferrari last season, his performance in Monaco becomes all the more impressive. The German is certainly very satisfied with his performance and that of his team-mate.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Vettel said: “I think it’s a great result for us. We can be very happy to also have two cars in the points. Great decisions at the pit wall today and good speed in the car when it really mattered. I think that made the difference for us today.

Now with a little more confidence after a good race in Monaco. The German is optimistic about doing the same on the streets of Baku as he prepares to race in the sixth round of this year’s championship in early June.
