The legacy of world-famous British automaker Aston Martin will continue from the start of the 2021 F1 season. But does the excitement only end with the team name? Well no More than the team, one of the biggest topics of conversation was the driver line-up that Sebastian Vettel will own.

After a dismal performance with Ferrari last season, the German joins the 007 team with massive evidence. Toto Wolff, the team boss of Mercedes and also partner, recognized the bright spotlight that shone over Vettel in his possibly redeeming season.
Wolff’s look at Sebastian Vettel

In an interview with SpeedWeek, Wolff explained that the coming season could be a “reality check” for the two Aston Martin drivers Vettel and Lance Stroll.
“For Sebastian Vettel and his stable mate Lance Stroll, this will be a first reality check. It will be fascinating for me to see Aston Martin too, ”he calculated.

It is not only Vettel who wants to have an influence on the starting grid as a driver, but Stroll is also trying to prove a massive point. The Canadian has been heavily criticized since the formally strong Sergio Perez was overlooked by Racing Point for the 2021 season.
And the fact that Stroll’s dad partially owns the team meant that despite Stroll Jr.’s inconsistent performance, he had the upper hand over the 2020 Sakhir GP race winner. Therefore, the young Canadian hopes to be able to make a solid statement in the 2021 season.
Aston Martin upgraded F1: Wolff
Wolff was extremely optimistic about Aston Martin’s future in Formula 1 and expected the British team to try to get to the top right from the start.
“If you carry the name of an automobile manufacturer with this great tradition, you must have requirements to be at the forefront. This is also an upgrade for Formula 1 with a great brand, ”he said.
Aston Martin made a brief appearance in Formula One between 1959 and 1960, but the team failed to impress the paddock as some bad seasons forced them to bow down earlier than intended.

This time, however, it is unlikely that the excursion will return with two problems. With a solid base, Aston Martin has already caught up with midfield. In addition, they led the tightly packed midfield battle through most of the 2020 season.
