After renaming the team from Racing Point to the Aston Martin name during the winter, the team has now announced details of its launch plans early next month.
The Aston Martin team will hold a virtual show on March 3rd from 3:00 p.m. GMT and have invited fans to attend the event by registering for the new car on the Unlock The Vault website.
2021 will be the first time a car under the name Aston Martin has driven in Formula 1 since the British manufacturer last tried a factory test in 1960.

The deal was closed following the investment by Racing Point owner Lawrence Stroll in Aston Martin in January 2020 and paved the way for a rebranding of the F1 team.
The kick-off event is also the first public appearance of the four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel with the team after his winter change from Ferrari. Vettel was already on site at the team’s factory in Silverstone to undergo seat adjustments and get to know his new teammates.
Vettel will partner with Lance Stroll in 2021. The young Canadian wants to build on his best F1 season so far last year, in which he achieved his first F1 pole position and two podiums.
The team will undergo a major rebranding, moving away from the bright pink colors that Racing Point Team was known for and adopting the classic British racing green that stands for Aston Martin.
Aston Martin also welcomed a new title sponsor, Cognizant, ahead of the 2021 season, which is another big change as part of the rebranding.
It only leaves Red Bull and Haas as teams who have to confirm plans to reveal their new cars ahead of the new season while the rest of the grid has decided on their revelations.
The Aston Martin unveiling comes a day after both Mercedes and Alpine unveiled their 2021 challengers, and is nine days before testing starts in Bahrain.
Vettel and Stroll will test the new Aston Martin F1 car for the first time in this test from March 12th to 14th, two weeks before the season opener of the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 28th.
