After renaming the Racing Point team under the name Aston Martin in winter, the team announced details of its starting plans early next month.
The Aston Martin team will be hosting a virtual launch on March 3rd from 3pm GMT and has invited fans to attend the event by registering for the new car on their website at Unlock The Vault.
2021 will be the first time a car has driven under the Aston Martin name in Formula 1 since the British manufacturer last put it into service in 1960.

The deal came about after Racing Point owner Lawrence Stroll’s investment in Aston Martin in January 2020, paving the way for the F1 team to be renamed.
The kick-off event is also the first public appearance of the four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel with the team after his winter change from Ferrari. Vettel was already at the team’s Silverstone factory to undergo seat adjustments and meet his new teammates.
Vettel will be a partner of Lance Stroll in 2021. The young Canadian would like to build on his best F1 season so far last year, in which he achieved his first F1 pole position and two podiums.
The team will undergo a major renaming, away from the bright pink colors the Racing Point squad was known for and adopt the classic British racing green synonymous with Aston Martin.
Aston Martin also welcomed a new title sponsor, Cognizant, ahead of the 2021 season, which is another big change as part of the rebranding.
It only leaves Red Bull and Haas as teams who have yet to confirm plans to unveil their new cars ahead of the new season while the rest of the grid have finalized their revelations.
The Aston Martin reveal comes the day after both Mercedes and Alpine unveil their 2021 challengers and nine days before pre-season testing starts in Bahrain.
Vettel and Stroll will give the new Aston Martin F1 car an extended run out for the first time in this test from March 12-14, two weeks before the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 28th.
