Zhou had an eventful race. Early in the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, the Chinese driver received a five-second penalty for overtaking Alexander Albon off the track. Due to a blunder by his team, Alfa Romeo, the five-second penalty became a drive through penalty.
“From my race, it was messy,” Zhou let’s know at F1.com. “I think the car was almost enough to fight for the points.” The Chinese let it be known that a poor start and the drive through penalty made a points finish impossible.
