Alfa Romeo looks ahead to the United States Grand Prix, hoping to regain points. The team hopes to do particularly well in the US. The team has a certain prestige in the USA and Kimi Raikkonen won his last race there.
Alfa Romeo prestigious in the USA
Team boss Frédéric Vasseur said in the Alfa preview: “We are going into the race in Austin with one goal – back in the points. We scored in Russia and would be two corners from doing the same in Turkey.”
“We are very keen to do well here in the US, we know the allure of the Alfa Romeo brand here in the States and what it would mean for all fans to have a strong race here.”

Raikkonen returns to hallowed ground
“I have some good memories from COTA,” begins Alfa driver Raikkonen. “Obviously it was where I got my last win so it’s nice to look back on, but once I get in the car it doesn’t matter anymore.
Both Raikkonen and teammate Antonio Giovinazzi must give their best after just missing out on points in Turkey.
