While fans around the world awaited a thrilling final, England and Italy delivered just that at Wembley last night. In fact, when the game was 1-1 after extra time, it took penalty shoot-outs to produce a winner. Although England initially led the penalty shoot-out, Italy stormed back to claim their first European title in 53 years.
During the build-up up to yesterday’s final, various drivers and teams indulged in a friendly banter. While Norris attended the final at Wembley Stadium, he posted a post on Instagram after the trophy was presented in support of England.
Giovinazzi didn’t hold back with the banter and the Italian replied: “Maybe you don’t know what it means, but … SPIAZE!” The word “Spiaze” was used by the current Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi, who often used the word to make apologies in Italian. In fact, it has been trending on social media around the world as various fans mocked Inzaghi with the word.
Although Norris cannot speak Italian, he definitely knows his memes, which on this occasion would help him understand Giovinazzi.

Can Giovinazzi score points for his Italian team at Silverstone?
While Euro 2020 is now a thing of the past, England will be immersed in the spectacle of the British Grand Prix. With Silverstone crowding in, drivers can expect more than 140,000 fans to scream their hearts out this weekend.
Although Giovinazzi has only one point this season, the Italian showed promise in the recent triple header. However, the Alfa Romeo may not have enough pace to disrupt the top 10 on a track like Silverstone.
