After Kimi Räikkönen and Sebastian Vettel fell in Turn 5, yellow flags were waved twice on the last lap of the race at the Red Bull Ring.
A number of drivers were summoned by the commissioners after the race for allegedly failing to comply with the double yellow by driving past the scene of the accident too quickly.
Investigations were initiated against the points earners Carlos Sainz Jr, Sergio Perez, Daniel Ricciardo, Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly, as well as Antonio Giovinazzi, Latifi and Mazepin.
After meeting each driver, the commissioners announced that both Latifi and Mazepin had received a 10-second stop-and-go penalty which was converted to a 30-second time penalty in the final standings.
The remaining six drivers were acquitted of any wrongdoing after the stewards believed they had taken appropriate action.
Mazepin and Latifi also receive three penalty points for their FIA super license, giving Latifi up to six and Mazepin up to five penalty points for the 12 month period.

The commissioners were of the opinion that Raikkonen Vettel had “closed the door”, which led to a collision and both cars went off the track.
Raikkonen received a drive-through penalty that was converted into a 20-second time penalty, but the Alfa Romeo driver moved up to 15th in the final standings.
Raikkonen also received two penalty points for his FIA super license, increasing him to six for the 12 month period.
