The former world champion has expressed his views on the much-discussed calendar. For the sake of clarity, the calendar for the next year extends between March and November in order to avoid a conflict with the FIFA World Cup starting in Qatar. There will be two triple headers; the first is pan-European, which is still manageable. However, the second, which will cover Russia, Singapore and Japan, could be logistically difficult and more demanding.
“It will burn out a lot of people and it won’t be good for anyone. I think as a spectator it might be nice to have a lot of races, but the people who do most of the work have it very difficult for them, ”said Raikkonen, as Gpfans reported.

“There has to be a better way. For some teams, simply hiring more people just isn’t an option because they don’t have the money to hire them. It’s a little difficult. ”He added.
Raikkonen believes it used to be just as difficult
Kimi Raikkonen experienced the transition phase of Formula 1 better than any other driver on the grid. He made his debut in 2001 and has been with the company ever since. He doesn’t think it used to be easier when they didn’t race the way they do today.

“There were tests between races, so I think more races are better than racing, then testing for a few days and then going to the next race. So I don’t think it was that easy. There were fewer races, ”said Kimi, as reported by Gpfans.
