
Kimi Raikkonen has a career spanning two decades. The Finn made his debut at Sauber in 2001 and will retire with the same team at the end of the 2021 season. In his early years in Formula 1, he challenged the great Michael Schumacher for the 2003 World Championship. He just missed the championship by 2 points.

Now, in 2021, he’s racing in Formula 1 with Michael’s son Mick Schumacher. But Mick mentioned that it disappointed him that he didn’t have any battles with the Iceman on the right track. But in order to grant the young German’s wish, Kimi proposed a very strange solution.
When he asked what it meant for him to share the track with Kimi, Mick had no answer.

Schumacher is asked how much it means to have shared the racetrack with Raikkonen:

Kimi: “Good answer!”
Mick: “It’s great! Unfortunately, I didn’t fight him a lot.”

The Alfa Romeo driver replied: “In some races I can drive slower and you can drive with me!”

Kimi Raikkonen shares his thoughts on his last GP race in Brazil
As reported by The Checkered Flag, the ice man stated that he was pleased with his performance at the Mexico City Grand Prix last week. He said he hoped to continue the same performance in Brazil.
“I was satisfied with our performance in Mexico and I hope that we can be on a similar level in Interlagos. Last week’s race wasn’t that eventful for me, but we scored points, so I’m happy with the result: In the end the result was good, so I don’t care if I was alone for most of the afternoon, ”said Kimi.

“Interlagos is a place that has very good memories for me: I won the World Championship here in 2007, so it will be nice to drive here one last time.
When I’m in the car, of course, I don’t think about it anymore, but it’s nice to be back after the race was canceled last year, ”said Raikkonen.

The paddock will definitely miss the 2007 world champion after his retirement at the end of the season. The sport won’t be the same without him next year.
