The Alfa Romeo driver remembers his fight with Vettel at the Dutch GP

Robert Kubica stated that despite old tires and a slower car, he was defending his position against Seb at Zandvoort. He also expressed his joy in finally driving a competitive car since 2010.

“Yes! Sure. I think I really drove in Formula 1 in 2010. So it was really a long time ago. Of course we are not at the top, but we still had a couple of nice fights and were able to do more than a few laps defend against Seb who was on fresher tires, ”said Kubica of the race in a competitive car.

“In contrast to Zandvoort, it is a track that I know well and that will help, especially since the sprint qualifying weekend format means that we will have one training session too short. I’m happy with what I’ve done in Holland and I can’t wait to help the team again in Monza, ”said Kubica.
