One team left to confirm the pairing for 2021 is Alfa Romeo. There have been various theories about the two drivers who will occupy the seats on the Ferrari subsidiary team. And the fascinating part is that all options remain open for now.

The young Ferrari Academy driver has made significant strides over the past few months. Mick Schumacher is currently leading the F2 championship ahead of Callum Ilott. There is certainly a strong case for the rookie coming to Alfa Romeo.
On the one hand, the big teams invest their trust in the youth and the potential that they bring to the table.

Second, Antonio Giovinazzi did not leave the greatest impressions during his tenure in the epitome of sport. Since moving from F2, the Italian racing driver has scored points in 7 of the 28 races he has driven.
He is often excluded from Q1 sessions and even after being at the bottom of the grid, the focus is mostly on finishing the races. In a sport as ruthless and competitive as Formula 1, half of that is enough to determine a driver’s future.
Alfa Romeo’s Raikkonen-Schumacher experiment
If there is any indication of a type in the complexity of the puzzle, it is for the words of team boss Frederic Vasseur. Obviously, he believes and wants Kimi Raikkonen to stay on the field for the next season.

So much so that he gave full autonomy to the Finnish driver who decides his own future. But the real question is: does Raikkonen want to continue with Alfa Romeo and F1?
