Giovinazzi has faced uncertainty about his future in each of his three Formula 1 campaigns due to his year-to-year contracts.

“For me, I don’t want to focus so much on it because it just loses energy. I want to focus more on performance and try to do my best.
“As I often say, it’s not my choice and whatever happens will happen. My goal is to be satisfied with myself and see what happens. “
A puncture destroyed Giovinazzi’s chance of scoring at Zandvoort after his best qualifying result of all time when he finished seventh on the grid.
Although he has only scored one point so far with P10 in Monaco in 2021, Giovinazzi is pleased with his efforts this year.
“I’m not the person I will be giving a voice to myself, but to be honest, I am very happy with my qualifications compared to Kimi,” he said.
“In the race we often had a bit of bad luck, to be honest, with pit stops and everything. But yes, for me I do my best and am therefore quite satisfied with my development.
