TV stations have refused to re-screen a horrific accident at the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix in which two drivers were hospitalized.
During a horror smash at the start of the Formula 2 Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia, debris was flown through the air from a height of 50 meters to land in the pit lane.
Enzo Fittipaldi and Theo Pourchaire were hospitalized, but their condition has been updated to be stable and conscious.
Fittipaldi was rammed in the back of Pourchaire after Pourchaire stalled at the start light.
After qualifying in third, more than half of the field passed the standing Pourchaire before Fittipaldi drove straight into his opponent at high speed as he had almost no chance of seeing the obstacle in front of him.
Fittipaldi hit the guardrails, parts of his car flew over the edge of the road before the car came to a stop.
TV stations, given its shocking nature, refused to re-screen the crash.

The red flag was displayed and the cars returned to the pits as the debris was cleared and medical attention was given to the two drivers.
Both Pourchaire and Fittipaldi were helicoptered to King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah.
Pourchair gave a thumbs up when loaded into an ambulance and has since posted a quick message on Twitter.
“Hey everyone, I just wanted to tell you guys that I’m totally fine! At the moment I don’t know if it’s the end of the season for me, ”he wrote.
“But the most important thing is not that, that was a really big one and Enzo is injured. I wish him the best possible recovery. “
“The drivers were immediately taken care of by emergency and medical crews,” says a message from Formula 2.
“The drivers were conscious and were released from the medical crews present. Both were taken to King Fahad Armed Forces Hospital in Jeddah by ambulance and helicopter. “
Alfa Romeo F1 boss Frederic Vasseur told an AFP journalist on the grid: “Theo is fine, he has no fracture”.
Foxsports.com.au reports that it restarted 40 minutes later before another crash and a red flag brought it to an untimely end, with Australian Oscar Piastri declaring the winner as his world title approached.
