Formula 1 drives to the last race before the summer break on the Hungaroring.
The title race is in good shape after Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen last fought on the first round of the British Grand Prix. Red Bull’s appointment was ultimately unsuccessful, so attention is focused on this weekend.
The Hungaroring, known as “Monaco without barriers”, is narrow, winding and very difficult to overtake. Starting from Monaco, Red Bull and Ferrari will assess their chances of a strong result, while Mercedes will likely take a step backwards.
McLaren is likely to be back in the hands of Lando Norris as he seeks to claim third place in the championship ahead of Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez.

However, Hamilton has an impeccable record in Hungary and has already won eight times. Pirelli has nominated C2, C3 and C4 tires for this weekend’s race.
Conditions are expected to remain dry on Friday while there is a significant chance of rain on Saturday.
