After the first stage of the second triple header of the season at Spa-Francorchamps, the F1 brotherhood moved to the Zandvoort circuit for the Dutch Grand Prix.

Formula 1 should return to the Netherlands for the first time since 1985 in 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the race was canceled. And recently the Dutch GP organizers confirmed that the race will take place as planned with a limited number of fans on the track.

Vettel and Ricciardo teamed up at the Dutch Grand Prix

After the FIA ​​announced the pairing of the driver and team boss, it was noticed that former Red Bull team-mates Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo would speak to the media together. After his outstanding performance with Red Bull’s sister team, Toro Rosso, Daniel Ricciardo moved to Red Bull to work with Sebastian Vettel.

The duo stayed together for one season in 2014, after which the German went to Ferrari.

Other former team-mates from the Red Bull Academy, Carlos Sainz, and this year’s title contender Max Verstappen will face the media together. Meanwhile, seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has teamed up with Antonio Giovinazzi from Alfa Romeo.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc will face the media with Nicholas Latifi. Meanwhile, Bottas, who has been heavily linked to a move from Mercedes, is paired with AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda. Pierre Gasly will address the media with 41-year-old Kimi Raikkonen.

While Lando Norris and George Russell are paired together, two-time world champion Fernando Alonso will face the media alongside Sergio Perez, who recently signed a contract extension with Red Bull. Hungarian GP winner Esteban Ocon and Schumacher Jr. are paired together.

Driver press conferences begin Thursday, September 2nd at 12:30 pm local time and 10:30 am GMT.

The young Dutchman was in the shape of his life. Max Verstappen took his sixth win of the season at the Belgian Grand Prix. And after the return of the Dutch Grand Prix, Verstappen can finally race in his home country.
