Antonio Giovinazzi reflects on his childhood struggles

Giovinazzi comes from the middle class. His father was a representative for a transport company and his mother stayed at home. In a recent interview with Corriere, he spoke at length about his childhood struggles.
“The older I got, the more difficult it became to realize the dream of an F1 driver. But I believed in it, but above all, Papa believed in it. He made so many sacrifices for me, ”said Giovinazzi.

Giovinazzi will compete in the upcoming Formula E championship. In addition to Mick Schumacher, he will also act as a substitute driver for the Ferrari team in the 2022 season. The Italian will help the Maranello team set up the car with simulator inputs.
However, Antonio Giovinazzi’s primary plan remains to return to Formula 1 in the future.
