Alfa Romeo unveils 2019 F1 car in racing livery

After changing the name of Sauber in winter, the team has optimized the colors red and white compared to last year.

The new car, the C38, has an aggressive front wing design with elements sloping down towards the end plate and an aggressive nose concept to channel the airflow.

The team’s 2019 challenger completed a successful shakedown on Ferrari’s Fiorano test track last week, with Kimi Raikkonen taking over the driving.

For this first run, Sauber used a special camouflage paint job to celebrate the Valentine’s Day test.

Raikkonen will begin testing for Alfa Romeo in Barcelona on Monday before team-mate Antonio Giovinazzi gets his first impression of the car on Tuesday.
