Lewis Hamilton took the world by storm as he finished on the podium in his very first race in F1. The boy from Stevenage had a great battle that season with his then-teammate and double-world champion, Fernando Alonso. However, the rookie lost the title to Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen by a mere point. He went on to win it the next year.

F1 Twitter roasts Fernando Alonso after his comments on Lewis Hamilton
Fans were having none of it as they took to Twitter to express their opinions about Fernando Alonso’s comments on Lewis Hamilton and his success. Furthermore, the Alpine driver raised a lot of eyebrows before Hamilton fans roasted him on Twitter.
Never listen to anything Alonso has to say, he has always been a Lewis hater, imagine being the reigning 2 time champion and then being embarrassed by the rookie who would go on to become the most successful of all time while u were stinking it up in back marker cars. Must hurt. pic.twitter.com/gmOagj11Ds

Moreover, fans asked the Spaniard to show some respect while talking about the “GOAT” of F1.
This is why I never and don’t buy the “Alonso praises Hamilton” or “he has respect for Hamilton” it’s all for PR, image and cameras where in fact in his mind he is still bitter about 2007.

Furthermore, one fan had enough of Alonso’s obsession with Sir Lewis Hamilton. Meanwhile, another fan reminded the Spaniard of Lewis’ famous title fight against the Ferrari drivers over the years.
Alonso is so obsessed with Hamilton it’s unhealthy, Lewis never won a title in an illegal car or from a racing director breaking the sporting regulations to help him win.

On Alonso’s comments on titles – easy to forget now, but Hamilton had a very competitive Vettel and Ferrari to beat in 2017 and 2018. Ferrari capitulated both times, just like they did against Max this year. Doesn’t diminish any of those three title wins in my view.

Alonso is still smarting from being spanked by rookie Hamilton in 2007. Lewis effectively derailed the whole career of a double WDC in his first year in #F1.
Fernando is fooling no one. Two – let’s be generous – “questionable” titles for Verstappen aren’t worth a crap.
