McLaren Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo took Dale Earnhardt’s 1984 number 3 Wrangler Chevrolet Monte Carlo for a spin ahead of the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of The Americas. The Australian driver has made a deal with McLaren F1 boss Zak Brown, who owns the # 3 vintage machine. If Ricciardo took his first podium for McLaren, he would be allowed to take it out for a ride. Brown maintained his end of the deal after Ricciardo scored his first win for the team at the Italian Grand Prix in September. See photos of the special trip for Ricciardo.
