The Mercedes-Lewis Hamilton pairing entered into the history books as Hamilton won his 7th world title in 2020. There’s only one other pairing that eclipses it – Michael Schumacher and Ferrari in the 1990s and 2000s.

Michael Schumacher steamrolled rivals during his long career in F1. In 306 starts, the German managed to win 91 races, 155 podiums, and, most importantly, 7 world championships.

5 of those 7 world titles came with Ferrari. He won those in 5 consecutive years, a record that still stands today. No one has matched his record of consecutive championship wins to date.

Ferrari, as a team, is an equally big name in F1 if not bigger. It holds the enviable record of most Constructor’s Championships with 16. During Schumacher’s 11 years with the Tifosi, Ferrari clinched 6 Constructor’s Championships.

The domination came with the help of the excellent car development team Ferrari had at the time. One of those machines was the Ferrari F2003-GA. The beast of a car was developed for the 2003 season.

The F2003-GA has a 2997 cc V10 engine, with a max power of 845 horsepower. The chassis was made of a carbon fiber composite monocoque. All the engineering helped Ferrari and Schumacher win races at will.

Schumacher finished with 93 points that season, having won 6 GPs. Ferrari also came out on top in the Constructor’s Championship, winning 8 of 16 races.

Ferrari’s domination unfortunately no longer exists anymore. With one of the best talents in the world as their spearhead, Ferrari will want to find their element back so they can give Charles Leclerc the foundation to win the title like they gave Schumacher and so many others.

Ferrari gives F1 fans a walk down memory lane

Michael Schumacher has been succeeded by his son, Mick in the F1 circuits. While he races for the Haas team at the moment, Ferrari offered him and his fans a chance to go back to the years of Schumi magic.

Mick was invited to drive the legendary F2003-GA before the car is auctioned in November 2022 at Sotheby’s. Fans love the pictures from the event, and here are some of their reactions.

A chance to see Michael back in his classic red racing suit and single-seater Ferrari might not be on the cards anymore. But to see Mick in his father’s car was quite touching.
